Shift Patterns Our services operate around the needs of the people we support, so shifts are varied and include a mix of early shifts, late shifts, sleep-ins, waking nights and weekend working . ?? About the role As a Support Worker, you will support people to live as independently as possible, make informed choices and enjoy full and rewarding lives within their local communities. Your role may include: Supporting with personal care, cooking, cleaning and daily living Encouraging independence, choice and confidence Supporting people to access leisure, shopping and community activities Supporting health and wellbeing, including medication where required Maintaining accurate care, medication and financial records Communicating effectively with individuals, families, colleagues and external agencies Following support plans, safeguarding, health and safety and professional boundaries Carrying out appropriate risk assessments Working as part of a team and using your own initiative Contributing to reviews, meetings, supervision and service development ?? About our services Our Supported Living services across the East Riding support people to live in their own homes and be as independent as possible. ?? Driffield: Our services are home to ladies who enjoy active and sociable lifestyles, including walking, swimming, gym activities, theatre, cinema, trampolining, day services and spending time in the community. ?? Brough / Elloughton Brough: Our service supports three sociable ladies who enjoy getting out into the community, visiting cafés, shopping, going to the cinema and attending day services. They are encouraged to be as independent as possible while receiving support with daily living, personal care and household tasks.
