Support worker

Could you support someone to live life on their own terms?

Here at Sense, we support people with complex disabilities to live the life they choose. We're looking for a Support Worker to join our small Supported Living service in Louth, supporting three people within their home and community. This is a permanent role working 30 hours per week on a various shift pattern, paying £13.00 per hour.

You'll be part of a supportive team, empowering the people you work with to live fulfilled lives with new experiences, choices, and inclusive opportunities - both at home and out in the wider community. No two days will be the same, but every day will matter.

Please note: if you live outside of Louth, you will need access to your own vehicle for early and late shifts as public transport in the area is very limited.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Warm, caring, and empathetic
• Positive, with a can-do attitude
• Passionate about enhancing other people's lives
• Reliable and consistent
• Willing to attend training and develop in their role

This role might include supporting people with:

• Everyday tasks like cooking and cleaning
• Personal care and hygiene
• Finances and medication
• Getting out into the community for activities and social events
• Their social life and leisure interests

Experience is welcome but not essential; what matters most is the right values and attitude.
