Supported Living Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Supported Living Manager to lead their services in Plymouth . This key role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of supported living facilities, ensuring the provision of high-quality, person-centred care for individuals with diverse needs, including learning disabilities and mental health conditions. You will be responsible for managing a team, developing care plans, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of support staff, providing effective supervision, training, and professional development.
• Oversee the development, implementation, and review of individualised care and support plans for all residents.
• Ensure the highest standards of care are maintained, adhering to all relevant legislation, CQC regulations, and company policies.
• Manage budgets, resources, and operational activities efficiently to ensure service sustainability.
• Liaise with residents, their families, external agencies, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care.
• Conduct regular audits and quality checks to monitor service performance and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within supported living or a similar care setting.
• A relevant qualification in health and social care (e.g., NVQ/QCF Level 4 or 5) or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding procedures, and best practices in care.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to effectively manage a team and drive service improvement.
• Proficiency in IT systems for reporting and administrative tasks.
