About the Role
Our client is searching for a dedicated and organised Supporter Care Coordinator to enhance the experience of their valued donors and supporters in the Cambridge area. You will be the primary point of contact for supporters, ensuring they receive excellent service, timely information, and are acknowledged appropriately for their contributions. This role is essential for building strong, lasting relationships and fostering loyalty within our supporter base.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming enquiries from supporters via phone, email, and social media in a timely and professional manner.
- Process donations accurately and efficiently, ensuring all gift aid claims are submitted correctly.
- Maintain the supporter database, ensuring all contact details and interaction records are up-to-date.
- Prepare and send thank-you letters, receipts, and other communications to supporters.
- Assist with the planning and execution of supporter engagement activities and events.
- Identify opportunities to improve the supporter experience and resolve any issues or complaints effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience in customer service , administration, or supporter care, preferably within the charity sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and professional phone manner.
- Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using database software and standard office applications.
- A genuine commitment to providing outstanding supporter care and advancing the charitable mission .
