Veterinary Surgeon – Surgical Bias Hull

This established business is preparing to open their brand-new veterinary hospital in Hull in January 2027, further expanding its accessible veterinary services across Yorkshire. The new hospital will provide affordable, high-quality care to pets and their owners throughout Hull and East Yorkshire, creating an exciting opportunity to join a growing clinical team from the beginning of its journey.

The hospital is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon with a particular interest and strength in surgery. This position offers a surgery-focused rota, with three out of every four working days dedicated to surgical work.

The successful candidate will be confident managing more complex soft tissue surgical cases independently and will enjoy working within a busy and varied clinical environment. Alongside their own clinical responsibilities, they will play an important role in supporting and mentoring other Veterinary Surgeons, helping colleagues develop their confidence and skills in surgery.

Working Pattern

The role offers a 40-hour week worked across four days, supporting a healthy work-life balance. The rota also includes 2 in 9 Saturdays and a shared Bank Holiday rota.
