About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Sustainable Forestry Manager to lead initiatives focused on responsible forest management and conservation. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive sustainable forest management plans, including harvesting, regeneration, and conservation strategies.
• Oversee all aspects of forest operations, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and certification standards (e.g., FSC, PEFC).
• Conduct ecological assessments, monitor forest health, and manage pest and disease outbreaks.
• Manage budgets, resources, and contractor performance effectively.

Requirements

• Degree in Forestry, Environmental Management, or a related discipline.

• Familiarity with forest inventory techniques, GIS, and remote sensing technologies.
