About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Swimming Pool Operations Manager to oversee their aquatic facilities in Portsmouth . This crucial role ensures the safe, efficient, and high-quality operation of all swimming pools, including maintenance, staffing, and programming. You will lead a team of lifeguards and pool attendants, manage budgets, and implement stringent health and safety protocols to provide a secure and enjoyable environment for all users. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of swimming pools, including opening, closing, and general upkeep.
• Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Supervise and schedule a team of lifeguards and pool attendants, providing ongoing training and performance management.
• Oversee pool maintenance, water quality testing, and chemical balancing.
• Develop and manage budgets for pool operations, including staffing, supplies, and repairs.

Requirements

• Proven experience in pool management or aquatics operations.
• Current Pool Plant Operators certificate and First Aid/Lifeguard qualifications.
• Strong knowledge of pool chemistry, maintenance procedures, and health and safety standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience in staff supervision and training.
