We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Apprentice to join our HR Services team, in the A&O Shearman Belfast Office!
HR Systems team - Belfast
The HR support service centre at A&O Shearman provides a first-class service to the firm, offering high quality administration and functional support services through a range of specialist teams including HR advice, HR systems and reporting, graduate recruitment, payroll and reward, training events and global mobility.
The Apprenticeship The firm in partnership with University of Ulster will be committed to investing in training to enable you to gain a BSc (Hons) business management degree. The apprenticeship is offered as a 3.5 year fixed term contract.
As part of an in-house Systems & Reporting team, primarily responsible for responding to systems, reporting, and data requests for the firm. The post-holder will take ownership for system issues raised, liaising with in-house technical and functional teams and keeping the customer informed at all times.
The role will involve working with and supporting our international offices from day one. Working across core HR systems processes will provide you with practical experience that will equip you to think differently and embrace an exciting future: one that’s filled with unique challenges and a broad range of opportunities.
Who we are looking for We are keen to speak to candidates with an interest in working in professional services and meet the following requirements:
- Previous experience is not required but applicants should be team players with good communication skills and strong attention to detail and an interest in working in HR.
- Applicants must possess a minimum of five GCSEs at grade C or above, including English and Mathematics and two A levels (or equivalent qualification) in any subject at grade C or above.
