Systems Engineer

Systems Engineer Cheltenham (Minimum 3 days onsite per week) 12 Months Up to £80/hr Umbrella Inside IR35

The Role

We're seeking Systems Engineers to support the development, integration, and verification of Electrical Power Distribution Systems within a highly regulated engineering environment.

We're particularly interested in candidates with experience in early lifecycle systems engineering, including requirements capture, system architecture, and concept development.

Key Responsibilities

Define, analyse, and manage system requirements. Contribute to system architecture and design activities. Support system integration, testing, verification, and validation. Develop test procedures and analyse results. Manage requirements traceability, baselines, and change control. Work closely with software, hardware, and other engineering teams.

Essential Skills

Systems engineering experience across development and/or verification activities. Strong understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle. Experience with requirements management and system architecture. Knowledge of verification and validation processes. Experience in complex engineering environments (aerospace, defence, automotive, etc.).

Desirable Skills

Electrical Power Distribution Systems knowledge. MATLAB/Simulink modelling for prototyping and concept development. Closed-loop control systems experience. Knowledge of ARP4754A or similar standards. Agile/Kanban experience.To apply, please send your CV in the first instance.
