About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Systems Installer to join their fully remote team, supporting installations and maintenance across the UK, with a strong emphasis on clients in the Cambridge area. This role requires an individual who can effectively manage and guide installation processes, often remotely, troubleshoot issues, and ensure successful system deployment. You will be responsible for overseeing installations, providing technical guidance, and problem-solving to ensure client satisfaction and system integrity from a distance. Key Responsibilities

• Provide remote oversight and technical guidance for the installation of complex systems.
• Develop and refine installation procedures and best practices for remote deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges encountered during the installation phase via remote diagnostics.
• Coordinate with on-site technicians or client personnel to ensure successful implementation.
• Maintain detailed documentation of installation progress, configurations, and any encountered issues.
• Liaise with the engineering and support teams to address complex technical problems.

Requirements

• Significant experience in a systems installation or field service role, with a proven ability to work remotely.
• Strong technical understanding of the systems or equipment being installed.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose issues effectively from a distance.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills, essential for remote team collaboration and client interaction.
• Proficiency in using remote management and communication tools.
• A degree or HND in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent practical experience is required.
