Tameside Adults Mental Health Social Worker Amhpperm

Job Description

Must have MH experience and Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience

Work collaboratively across a range of disciplines to continuously promote a 'needs based' approach to all service users.
Promote a partnership approach to service delivery.
Develop clear support plans following a Care Act assessment, Complete funding applications, complete work that has legal requirements such as Copdol, dols, 21a's, reports for court etc
Develop meaningful engagement with individuals who are often referred to as 'difficult to engage' and their families.
Support Carers through the Care Act
Work with Children about to turn 18 and transition into Adult Mental Health services
The team will offer a 6-day service within the hours of 09.00hrs to 17.00hrs, the majority being Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturdays. Some flexibility will be necessary to provide planned interventions

H - Professional Bar Point SCP31 (H+)

GRADE A-F

GRADE G-N (including Soulbury)

Qualified and Warranted AMHPs once warranted and on the rota additional £82 per AMHP shift worked, average around 25 - 30 shifts per year

If not an AMHP will after a period of time be willing to train the person to be an AMHP

All post are full time Monday to Friday , with the very occasional Saturday

As a team we are working on 1 working from home day a week, arranged with the managers

We offer regular supervision, Peer supervision and joint training sessions with Pennine care Mental Health service

Additional AMHP supervision, AMHP conferences, AMHP peer support.
