Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and file all company tax returns, including corporation tax, VAT, and other relevant taxes.
- Provide expert advice on tax planning and strategy to minimise tax liabilities.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and advise the business accordingly.
- Manage tax audits and respond to queries from HMRC and other tax authorities.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure tax implications are considered in business decisions.
- Maintain accurate tax records and documentation.
Requirements
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CTA) or equivalent with a specialisation in tax.
- Proven experience in corporate tax, compliance, and planning.
- In-depth knowledge of UK tax legislation and reporting requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with tax authorities and internal stakeholders.
