About the Role

Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Tax Advisor to join their esteemed financial services firm, operating remotely from Edinburgh . This role involves providing expert tax advice to a diverse portfolio of corporate and individual clients, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax legislation. You will be responsible for tax planning, strategy development, and resolving complex tax issues. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of UK tax law, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly. This is a fully remote opportunity, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to a leading financial advisory practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive tax advice and planning services to a range of clients.
• Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations.
• Identify tax planning opportunities to minimize client tax liabilities.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and advise clients accordingly.
• Represent clients in discussions with HMRC and other tax authorities.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.

Requirements

• Qualified professional (e.g., CTA, ACA, ACCA) with a specialization in taxation.
• Significant experience in tax advisory or tax compliance roles.
• In-depth knowledge of UK corporate and personal tax law.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
