What are we looking for?

Someone who is:

• Commercially minded and technically strong
• Comfortable building genuine relationships with clients
• Confident explaining complex tax issues without the jargon
• Curious about a client’s wider situation – not just the question in the email
• Someone who’d rather pick up the phone and have a conversation than fire off another email

You’ll need strong technical knowledge across areas including Corporation Tax, Income Tax, CGT, IHT, VAT, Employment Tax and Trusts, as well as experience with areas such as restructures, acquisitions/disposals, due diligence and HMRC enquiries.

You’ll be at the coal face, working directly with clients, leading advisory work and helping shape how we deliver our tax services.

The role also offers:

• Salary in the region of £60,000 DOE

We’re looking for a CIOT member with at least 5 years’ post-qualified experience in practice, excellent client-facing skills and someone who wants to make a genuine difference to clients.
