Teacher of Economics & Business

Queen Elizabeth's School is looking for a Teacher of Economics & Business to join our Business department. The role offers a full‑time permanent position with a salary ranging from £31,650 to £49,084 per annum (M1 to UP3). The start date is 1 September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to work in our upper school, teaching Key Stage 4 and 5, and with a high Sixth Form intake, including both A‑Level and BTEC economics and business courses.

Desired Qualifications and Experience

• Awareness of Rosenshine’s principles of instruction.
• Strong knowledge of business principles, economics and entrepreneurship.
• Familiarity with techniques from Tom Sherrington’s Walk‑Thru series or Doug Lemov’s Teach Like a Champion series.
• Ability to promote high standards of student learning, achievement, progress, attainment and behaviour through collaborative work.
• Ability to deliver inspirational lessons.
