Teacher of Geography - LiverpoolStart Date: Immediate StartLocation: LiverpoolContract: Full Time - Until Easter 2027Salary: M1-M6Experienced Teacher of Geography Required for Immediate StartTradewind Recruitment is delighted to be working with a well-regarded secondary school in Liverpool to recruit a dedicated Teacher of Geography for a full-time position starting immediately and continuing until Easter 2027.This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Teacher of Geography to join a supportive department and inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will deliver engaging Geography lessons, support student progress and make a positive contribution to the school throughout the academic year.
As a Teacher of Geography, you will:
- Deliver engaging, well-planned Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Inspire students to develop their knowledge and understanding of geographical concepts, processes and issues.
- Plan and deliver lessons covering a broad range of physical and human Geography topics.
- Assess, monitor and support student progress to help maximise achievement.
- Create a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment where all students can thrive.
- Prepare students effectively for GCSE Geography where appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
The successful Geography Teacher will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4.
- Strong classroom management skills and excellent subject knowledge.
- A passion for Geography and the ability to inspire and engage young people.
- The ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
- Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A full 10-year career history.
- A minimum of two professional references.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
