Teacher of Girls PE

Veritas Education is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Girls' Physical Education to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Wakefield. The Role

As a Teacher of Girls' PE, you will:

• Deliver engaging and high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Inspire students to participate in sport and physical activity both within and beyond the curriculum.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policies.
• Support extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures, and enrichment activities.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel encouraged to succeed.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and department.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Girls' PE within a secondary school setting.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• A passion for promoting physical wellbeing and sporting participation.
• The ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
