Tradewind Recruitment are actively looking for Teachers of Science to work across a range of secondary schools in the Folkestone area, from September until the end of the year, with the view of extending beyond.

Salary

MPS1 - UPS3, depending on experience

The Role

As a Science Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across all three Science disciplines - Biology, Chemistry and Physics - to KS3 and KS4 students.
• Create learning experiences that cater to the needs and abilities of all students.
• Attend departmental meetings and parents' evenings when required.
• Monitor and record student progress effectively, providing feedback to support their academic growth and development.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong subject knowledge across Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
• The ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
• Excellent behaviour management skills.
• Experience teaching Science to KS3 and/or KS4 students.
• An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, or willingness to apply for one, alongside Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
• A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, where possible.
• The legal right to work in the UK.
