EYFS Teaching Assistant – Full Time

Location: DN7

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Temporary, ongoing

Hours: Full time

Provide Education are currently recruiting for a full-time EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in the DN7 area.

The successful candidate will be supporting children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), helping to create a positive, engaging and nurturing learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of learning activities
• Providing support to children on both an individual and small-group basis
• Encouraging children's development, confidence and independence
• Supporting classroom routines and maintaining a safe, stimulating environment
• Working closely with the teaching team to meet pupils' individual needs

Qualifications

• Have previous experience working with children, ideally within an EYFS or school setting
• Be enthusiastic, patient and nurturing
• Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Be reliable and committed to supporting children's learning and development
• Be available to start ASAP
