Location: Coventry Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Hays Education is recruiting for a specialist SEN school in Coventry seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with children and young people with Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH and additional learning needs in a supportive and rewarding environment.

Your new role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide classroom support, 1:1 support and small-group intervention to help pupils achieve their academic, social and personal development goals.

This role would suit candidates with experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Support Worker, Care Worker, Youth Worker, Residential Support Worker or anyone with experience supporting children with additional needs.

Experience working with children or young people A passion for supporting pupils with SEN Strong communication and behaviour management skills A patient, resilient and positive attitude Experience supporting Autism, ADHD, SEMH or complex needs is desirableWhat you'll get in return
