This long-term opportunity is ideal for someone passionate about helping children with Special Educational Needs (SEND) develop academically, emotionally and socially.
You will join a supportive school team focused on creating a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment for every pupil.
The Role: Teaching Assistant London (Enfield)
As a Teaching Assistant , your daily responsibilities will include:
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with a range of SEND needs
- Implementing strategies that support behavioural, emotional and social development
- Assisting in delivering an engaging, structured and inclusive learning environment
- Supporting personalised interventions and educational support plans
- Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils, staff and parents
- Working collaboratively with class teachers and the wider SEN team to ensure pupil progress and wellbeing
Requirements
To be considered for this Teaching Assistant role, you should have:
- Previous experience working in a SEN or primary teaching assistant environment
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- A commitment to inclusive education and child development
- An enthusiastic, adaptable and proactive approach
- An understanding of safeguarding, wellbeing and pupil support
