Teaching Assistant
Thrive Education is seeking a motivated and reliable Teaching Assistant to work full time supporting teachers and students across the classroom. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping young people succeed, whether that's supporting individual students, small groups, or the whole class.
Key Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant:
* Support the class teacher in the planning and delivery of lessons
* Provide in-class support to individual students and small groups, including those with SEND
* Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
* Assist with the preparation of learning materials and resources
* Support students' social, emotional, and behavioural development
* Monitor and record student progress, feeding back to teaching staff
* Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and pastoral staff to meet individual student needs
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience working with young people in a school or similar setting
* A genuine passion for supporting student learning and wellbeing
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Patience, resilience, and a positive, can-do attitude
* The ability to work well as part of a team and use initiative
* Relevant qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent)
