2 x SEN Teaching Assistants - Mainstream Primary School | Cosham

We are currently recruiting for 2 x SEN Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Cosham.

The school is looking for caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants who can provide positive support to pupils with additional needs while helping them access the mainstream curriculum and develop their confidence and independence.

The role

Supporting pupils with SEN on a 1:1 and small-group basis

Providing support within the classroom and across the school

Helping pupils engage with learning and develop their independence

Supporting social, emotional and behavioural development

Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO

Creating a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment

We're looking for:

Previous experience working with children, ideally in a school setting

Experience supporting children with SEN is desirable

A patient, caring and encouraging approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Someone who is reliable, proactive and passionate about supporting children

Location: Cosham Setting: Mainstream Primary School Positions: 2 x SEN Teaching Assistants Start: Asap ⏰ Hours: 8:30-15:30

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
