What we're looking for:
Proven Experience: Background in education, childcare, care work, or supporting individuals with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Strong Empathy & Patience: Ability to connect with young people and tailor support to their individual needs. Compliance: An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).Key Duties:
Classroom Support: Assist teachers with room setup, resource preparation, and managing classroom behaviour. Academic Guidance: Lead small-group interventions in reading and writing to reinforce learning. 1-on-1 Support: Provide dedicated support to pupils and adapt tasks to their capabilities. Pupil Well-being: Offer emotional support, monitor student safety during breaks, and report progress or safeguarding concerns to teachers. What we offer:
