Teaching Personnel are looking for caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work across specialist schools in Southampton and the surrounding areas.

We have a range of flexible and full-time opportunities, making this ideal whether you’re an experienced TA, recent graduate, support worker, or looking to start a career in education.

The Role

You’ll support pupils with a range of SEND needs, helping them engage with learning, build confidence and develop independence.

You may support pupils with:

Autism (ASD) and ADHD

Learning and complex needs

SEMH needs

Communication and interaction difficulties

Behavioural needs

Responsibilities may include 1:1 and small-group support, classroom assistance, encouraging positive behaviour and building positive relationships with pupils.

What We're Looking For

Experience in education, SEN, care, youth work or support work is desirable but not essential for every opportunity.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
