A friendly and inclusive primary school in Mitcham is looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive primary school in Mitcham, providing general classroom support alongside some 1:1 work with pupils who require additional help.

The Role

• Full-time Teaching Assistant position
• Supporting the class teacher with lessons and classroom activities
• Providing 1:1 support to pupils when required
• Working with individuals and small groups to support learning
• Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development
• Contributing to a positive learning environment within this Mitcham primary school

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous school or childcare experience is desirable
• Comfortable providing 1:1 support to pupils with additional needs
• SEN Teaching Assistants and graduates are encouraged to apply
• Positive, patient and proactive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Keen to develop their experience within a primary school in Mitcham
