Duties

• Assist teachers in delivering classroom instruction tailored to individual student needs, including those with disabilities or autism

• Support students during lessons, activities, and transitions to ensure a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere

• Provide one-on-one tutoring and mentoring to reinforce learning concepts and build student confidence

• Implement creative writing exercises and other engaging activities to stimulate student creativity and communication skills

• Monitor student behavior, provide encouragement, and promote social interaction among peers

• Collaborate with educators and specialists to develop personalized learning plans for students requiring additional support

• Maintain accurate records of student progress, behavior incidents, and activity participation

Skills

• Experience working with children in educational or caregiving settings

• Knowledge of special education strategies and experience supporting individuals with disabilities or autism

• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, teachers, and families

• Ability to adapt teaching methods creatively to meet diverse learning styles and needs

• Proven tutoring or mentoring skills that foster motivation and academic success

• Creative writing skills to develop engaging lesson content and activities

• Compassionate attitude with a passion for helping students succeed academically and socially
