SEMH Teaching Assistant
Location: Outskirts of Nottingham
Start Date: September 2025
Pay: 90 - 120 per day

Tradewind Recruitment is proud to be working with a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) school on the outskirts of Nottingham. We're looking for dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants to join their team from September 2025 .
About the Role:
As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in helping pupils aged 5-16 overcome emotional and behavioural challenges so they can thrive in education and beyond.
You'll be:
Providing 1:1 and small group support tailored to students' individual needs
Helping deliver engaging interventions focused on emotional wellbeing and behaviour
Working alongside teachers, therapists, and support staff to build a safe, positive environment
Supporting students to build confidence, resilience, and self-regulation skills
Who We're Looking For:
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
Experience working with children or young people with SEMH, Autism, ADHD, or behavioural needs
A calm, empathetic, and consistent approach to managing behaviour
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A desire to genuinely make a difference in the lives of vulnerable young people
Whether you're an experienced TA, a youth worker, a psychology graduate, or someone with transferable experience if you have the heart for this role, we want to hear from you.
