I'm seeking a number of Teaching Assistants who are looking to make a real difference in students' academic and personal development to join a thriving and supportive Outstanding secondary school based in Brent Cross, North West London .
This position is starting in September 2026 and is open to graduates, Psychology graduates, individuals with a sports coaching background, and experienced Teaching Assistants . The ideal candidate will be committed, enthusiastic, reliable and have a genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their full potential within a successful SEN department.
You will be supporting students with a range of additional needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, behavioural difficulties and Dyslexia , helping them to access the curriculum and thrive within the school environment.

TEACHING ASSISTANT INFORMATION:

TEACHING ASSISTANT CONTRACT DETAILS
Location: Brent Cross, North West London
Position: Teaching Assistant
Type of Work: Supporting students across KS3 / KS4 / KS5
Start Date: September 2026
Contract Type: Temp to Perm
Hours: Full Time Only (8:00am - 3:30pm/4:00pm, plus parents' evenings where required)
Minimum Rate of Pay: 100 - 110 per day (depending on experience)
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
- A Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
- Psychology degree or sports coaching background desirable, but not essential.
- Previous experience working with children or young people is advantageous.
- A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable students and helping them succeed.
- Strong communication skills, patience and a proactive attitude.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
