Job Description
Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a secondary school in the London Borough of Islington, starting in September. The ideal candidate will have previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN, and be confident providing tailored support to students with additional needs.

Experience, Training And Qualifications
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is essential
- Experience supporting students with additional learning needs in a school or educational setting
- A genuine interest in supporting students with their learning, development and wellbeing
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Up-to-date safeguarding training issued within the last year (or willing to complete)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
- Provide two professional references covering the last 24 months of employment (August 2024 - present)
