TeacherActive is proud to be working with a community school in Aberdare that is looking to welcome a Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant into their Reception class. The school is looking for someone who is reliable, enthusiastic and keen to get involved in all aspects of school life.

The school is looking to take on a Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant from January on a long-term, full-time basis, working 5 days a week. The successful Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant will support pupils within the Reception class, working alongside the class teacher to encourage children's learning, development and engagement.

The successful Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant will have:

• Fluency in Welsh
• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable
• Experience supporting children within an Early Years or Primary setting
• A willingness to get stuck in and support the wider classroom
• A reliable and enthusiastic approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
