The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers and school staff to support pupils with their learning, development and wellbeing. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include: Supporting pupils during lessons and classroom activities. Working with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning. Providing additional support to pupils with SEND and other learning needs. Helping pupils develop communication, confidence and independence. Building positive, professional relationships with pupils. Supporting pupils to achieve their learning and development goals. ‍ Working closely with teachers to create a positive learning environment. Encouraging inclusion and ensuring pupils feel supported and valued. Assisting with classroom preparation and learning resources. Working collaboratively with teachers and wider school staff. ️ Following safeguarding and child-protection procedures. Supporting positive behaviour and pupil wellbeing.
