About the Opportunity
AMG Search is delighted to be working with a leading, well-established wealth management firm to recruit a Team Leader for their Account Administration team based in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced administrator with proven people management skills to step into a leadership role within a respected, high quality business.
The Role
You will lead an experienced team of 6 Account Administrators, overseeing the day to day running of the team and ensuring high standards of client administration are consistently delivered. This is a hands‑on leadership role suited to someone who is comfortable with both the operational and people management aspects of running an admin team.
The role is hybrid with 3 days in the Leeds office per week, with 5 days in office during the probation period as you get to know the team and settle into the role.
Key Details
- Leading a team of 6 experienced Account Administrators
- Responsibility for 1‑2‑1s, performance management and team development
- Ensuring high standards of client administration and service delivery
- Working closely with senior management to drive continuous improvement
- A well‑established, supportive team ready for strong leadership
- First stage is an informal coffee chat with the hiring manager
- Second stage is a 20‑minute presentation on your plans for the first 6 months in the role
Salary and Package
- Salary up to C. £48,000
- Hybrid working – 3 days in Leeds office per week

What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience in account administration within financial services or wealth management — essential
- Demonstrable people management experience including 1‑2‑1s, performance reviews and team development
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A natural leader who can engage, motivate and develop an experienced team
- Diploma in Financial Planning is not required for this rolE
