Hours: 5-45am – 2:00pm
Pay: £15.00 per hour

Role Overview

A temp-to-perm opportunity is available for an experiencedTeam Leader / Yardmanworking with structural steel in the Rochester area.

The company works with structural steel and provides services includingshot blasting and finishing.

You will be responsible for supervising a team ofoperativesand overseeing the day-to-day duties and organisation of the yard.

Main Responsibilities

• Managing and supervising a team of approximately 6 yard operatives.
• Allocating daily duties and ensuring work is completed efficiently.
• Handling and moving structural steel safely around the yard.
• Loading and unloading structural steel and materials.
• Organising incoming and outgoing steelwork.
• Coordinating the movement of steelwork through the yard and work areas.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed.
• Working closely with management and other teams.
• Dealing with day-to-day issues and ensuring the yard runs smoothly.
• Carrying out general yard duties when required.

Working Hours & Pay

Hours: 5-45am – 2:00pm
Pay: £15.00 per hour
Contract: Temp-to-Perm
