This role is central to ensuring the technical integrity and buildability of architectural designs, bridging the gap between concept and construction. You will work closely with design teams, engineers, and contractors, providing expert technical guidance and resolving complex construction challenges. Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed technical solutions and construction information for architectural projects.
- Ensure designs comply with UK Building Regulations, planning policies, and technical standards.
- Review and approve construction drawings and specifications from contractors.
- Collaborate with engineering consultants to integrate building services effectively.
- Undertake site inspections and provide technical support during the construction phase.
- Manage and coordinate BIM models and technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Qualified Architect or Architectural Technologist with significant technical experience.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and UK Building Regulations.
- Proficiency in Revit , AutoCAD, and other relevant technical software.
- Strong understanding of contract administration and site supervision.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
