About the Role
Our client is seeking an organized and experienced Technical Installation Manager to oversee installation projects in and around Bristol . This leadership role involves managing teams of technicians, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all aspects of the installation process, from initial site assessment to final handover. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual with strong project management skills and a solid technical background in installation and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage teams of installation technicians, providing guidance and oversight.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations for installations.
- Oversee the on-site execution of installation projects, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and safety standards.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to identify project requirements and potential challenges.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Manage project budgets and ensure cost-effective execution of all installation activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in managing technical installation projects.
- Strong understanding of installation processes, best practices, and relevant technologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project documentation.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
- Based in or able to commute regularly to the Bristol area, with flexibility for travel to project sites.
