Technical Lead

Technical Leads – Rainwater Management & SuDS One of the most exciting engineer-led, employee-owned civil and environmental consultancy has just opened a new office in Manchester. They’re now looking for two Technical Leads at Engineer/Consultant level who are passionate about environmentally positive solutions and eager to work on large scale projects, to join the team, with a focus on Rainwater Management, SuDS and Nature-Based Solutions. You’ll be involved in a range of projects focused on improving surface water management, developing practical solutions that also deliver wider environmental, social and economic benefits. Your work could include:

• Rainwater Management and surface water drainage design
• Developing Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) and Nature-Based Solutions (NBS), including swales, raingardens, wetlands, ponds, rainwater harvesting, reed beds or other related components
• Evaluating flood risk, drainage and water quality solutions
• Working across disciplines including hydrology, ecology, landscape, geotechnical and civil engineering
• Leading a small portfolio of low-complexity projects with support from Senior Technical Leads
• Working with internal teams, local authorities, regulators and external partners If you are a mid-level Engineers or Consultants with experience in project delivery and design or technical support who's passionate about green solutions, then this could be the role for you. You’ll ideally have a background in drainage, flood risk, hydrology, SuDS or the water industry, alongside a genuine interest in sustainable rainwater management and green-blue infrastructure.
