My client is looking for an experienced Technical Maintenance Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of facilities management services across a large, high-profile site.

This is a senior position, acting as a key point of contact for the client while leading a team of up to 30 people and ensuring the highest standards of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Take overall responsibility for the technical maintenance and facilities management operation on site. Act as the main point of contact for the client and key stakeholders. Lead and manage a team of engineers, supervisors and operational staff. Ensure all contractual obligations, SLAs and KPIs are consistently met. Oversee the delivery of hard and soft facilities management services. Monitor maintenance performance and ensure all planned and reactive works are completed effectively. Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring safe systems of work are followed. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation. Work closely with the client to identify issues, provide solutions and drive continuous improvement. Produce performance reports and support regular client reviews. Manage budgets, costs and resources to ensure efficient service delivery. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency without compromising quality. Previous experience in a Technical Maintenance management role. Strong technical/hard services background. Experience managing engineers, supervisors and wider operational teams. Strong understanding of building services and maintenance. Experience managing subcontractors and suppliers. Good knowledge of Health & Safety and safe systems of work. Experience working to SLAs, KPIs and contractual requirements. Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills. Commercial awareness, including budget and cost management. Excellent communication and people-management skills. IOSH is desirable but not essential. Full UK driving licence. Must be able to obtain the required security clearance. Package
