Ashfield District Council have a great opportunity for a Technical Officer (Damp, Mould & Disrepair) to join us in Sutton-in-Ashfield. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £35,412 - £38,220 - per annum (pay award pending).

We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join our Repairs Team in a newly created role within the Operations Directorate.
In this varied position, you will carry out technical inspections, assessments and surveys across our housing stock, diagnose repair and damp issues, and work closely with colleagues to investigate and resolve disrepair claims.
The successful candidate will have experience of repair and damp diagnosis in domestic properties, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. Training and development will be provided to help you build on your existing knowledge and skills.
