About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and proactive Technical Project Manager to join their established team in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear . This role is crucial for overseeing the successful delivery of technical projects, from software development cycles to infrastructure upgrades. You will work closely with engineering teams, IT specialists, and business stakeholders to ensure projects are completed efficiently, meeting stringent technical requirements and business objectives. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of technical projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
• Collaborate with development and engineering teams to define project scope, technical requirements, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules , resource plans, and budgets for technical initiatives.
• Identify and manage technical risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate clear and concise communication between technical teams, business units, and external vendors.
• Ensure that all technical projects adhere to industry standards, compliance requirements, and quality assurance protocols.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management , with a strong emphasis on technical projects.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC), IT infrastructure, and networking concepts.
• Proven experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, capable of engaging with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or ITIL are advantageous.
