About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to join their fully remote team, supporting initiatives related to Reading . This role is pivotal for leading the planning and execution of complex technical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to drive technical initiatives forward. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and proven success in managing demanding projects in a distributed setting.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of technical projects, from initiation through to deployment and support, in a fully remote capacity .
Develop detailed project plans, define technical requirements, and manage project scope, schedule, and budget.
Coordinate and manage cross-functional technical teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
Identify and mitigate technical risks and dependencies, proactively addressing potential roadblocks.
Liaise with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, milestones, and technical challenges.
Ensure adherence to engineering best practices, quality standards, and security protocols throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Significant experience as a Technical Project Manager , leading software development or infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, agile methodologies, and cloud technologies.
Proven ability to manage complex technical projects in a fully remote environment .
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills tailored for remote teams.
Experience with technical documentation and requirements gathering.
A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is highly desirable.
