The Role
As Technical Sales Engineer, you will provide technical expertise and support to customers, distributors and internal teams. You will be responsible for preparing quotations, identifying suitable solutions, assisting with technical projects and helping drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Responding to technical enquiries and customer requests
- Producing detailed quotations and estimates
- Recommending the most suitable technical solutions
- Supporting customers with projects and technical challenges
- Assisting with technical training for internal and external stakeholders
- Investigating customer complaints and improvement opportunities
- Supporting field sales teams during customer visits
- Delivering projects and reports within agreed timescales
- Maintaining accurate records and administrative documentation
- Attending exhibitions, meetings and industry events when required
About You
- A STEM degree or relevant industry experience
- Experience within technical sales, engineering, manufacturing or food processing
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Commercial awareness and sound judgement
- Strong organisational and project management abilities
- High levels of IT literacy
- Good Maths and English skills
- A proactive approach and desire to continuously develop knowledge
- Additional language skills would be advantageous
