About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Technical Support Engineer to join their innovative team in Belfast . This role is critical for providing advanced technical assistance to customers, resolving complex hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of client systems. You will work closely with the product and engineering teams to identify and resolve technical challenges, contributing to the development of robust solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level technical support and troubleshooting for complex hardware and software issues.
- Diagnose, document, and resolve technical problems reported by customers in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify root causes of technical issues and implement fixes.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, FAQs, and troubleshooting articles.
- Manage and monitor client systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Participate in product testing and provide feedback for product improvements.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Technical Support Engineer or in a similar technical role.
- Strong understanding of operating systems, networking, and common software applications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using remote support tools and diagnostic software.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
- Experience with scripting or programming languages is a plus.
