About the Role

Our client is looking for a proactive Technical Support Specialist to join their dynamic team in Manchester , operating on a hybrid model. This role involves providing expert technical assistance and troubleshooting for installed systems, combining remote support with occasional on-site visits as needed. You will play a key part in ensuring client satisfaction by resolving technical challenges efficiently and effectively. This position requires a blend of strong technical acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to both remote and on-site working environments, contributing to a seamless client experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve technical support requests via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to installations.
• Perform periodic on-site maintenance and upgrades at client locations as required.
• Document all support activities, solutions, and client interactions thoroughly.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to escalate complex issues and provide feedback for product improvement.
• Assist in the development of knowledge base articles and troubleshooting guides.

Requirements

• Experience in a technical support or maintenance role, with a focus on installation support.
• Strong understanding of IT systems, networking concepts, and relevant hardware/software.
• Proficiency in using remote support tools and helpdesk software.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
