An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Service Technician / Vehicle Mechanic to join an established automotive business in Walton Abbey. Offering a salary of £36,000, negotiable depending on experience, this is a great opportunity for a technician with strong mechanical skills and experience carrying out more complex repairs.

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and mechanical repairs across a range of vehicles. The role will include:

• Carrying out routine servicing and vehicle maintenance
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
• Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults
• Carrying out clutch replacements and repairs
• Completing timing chain repairs and replacements
• Carrying out general mechanical repairs and component replacement
• Conducting vehicle inspections and health checks
• Identifying additional faults and recommending required repairs
• Completing work accurately and efficiently
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and vehicle safety
• Working as part of a professional workshop team

About You

We're looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic with strong mechanical knowledge and the confidence to tackle more complex repairs. You'll ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Service Technician
• Strong mechanical servicing and repair experience
• Clutch repair and replacement experience
• Timing chain repair and replacement experience
• Good diagnostic and fault-finding ability
• Experience using diagnostic equipment
• Strong attention to detail
• A professional and reliable approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full UK Driving Licence
