The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out servicing, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards, ensuring every vehicle is completed efficiently and right first time.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles
- Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
- Completing repairs in line with manufacturer standards
- Performing vehicle health checks and reporting additional work
- Accurately completing job cards and workshop documentation
- Road testing vehicles where required
- Working closely with the workshop team to maintain productivity and efficiency
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety and workmanship at all times
About You
You'll ideally have:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- At least 3 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic, Automotive Technician or Car Mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Experience working to manufacturer standards
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Your own tools and toolbox
- A Full UK Manual Driving Licence
- A positive attitude and pride in delivering high-quality work
