Location: Croydon Basic Salary: £35,000 to £42,000 DOE Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Hours: Monday to Saturday, 9:00am to 6:00pm

The Role

As a Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality servicing, maintenance and repair work while ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work
• Completing a variety of service and maintenance operations
• Carrying out assembly operations and repairs efficiently
• Diagnosing and identifying mechanical faults
• Working to the highest standards of quality and efficiency
• Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer and safety standards
• Accurately completing job cards and service documentation
• Providing excellent technical support and advice where required
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment

About You

We're looking for an experienced Vehicle Mechanic / Vehicle Technician with:

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
• At least 2 years' experience working as a Vehicle Mechanic within the automotive industry
• Strong mechanical and technical skills
• A good understanding of servicing, maintenance and repair procedures
• A current MOT Licence would be advantageous but is not essential
• Your own tools and toolbox
• A full manual UK Driving Licence, subject to licence checks
• The right to work in the UK
