Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test telecommunications hardware, including routers, switches, and fibre optic equipment.
• Perform site surveys to assess requirements and plan installation procedures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to network connectivity and equipment malfunction.
• Manage cabling installations, ensuring neatness, safety, and compliance with standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and technical support to clients during and after installations in the Glasgow area.

Requirements

• Experience in telecommunications or IT support, with a focus on hardware installation.
• Knowledge of networking principles, TCP/IP, and common communication protocols.
• Familiarity with fibre optic and copper cabling systems and testing equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and follow installation guides precisely.
• A valid driving license and willingness to travel to client sites throughout the Glasgow region.
