Telecommunications Project Manager

About the Role

Our client seeks an experienced Telecommunications Project Manager to oversee and deliver complex projects within the Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, UK area. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of telecommunications infrastructure projects, from initiation and planning through to execution, monitoring, and closure. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively manage budgets, timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations to ensure successful project outcomes. You will play a vital role in expanding and upgrading our client's service offerings and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints.
• Coordinate and lead project teams, assigning tasks and ensuring accountability for deadlines.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and issues effectively to all stakeholders, including clients and senior management.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing contingency plans as needed.
• Ensure all projects comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and quality requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in the telecommunications sector.
• Demonstrable success in managing multiple telecommunications projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
• Relevant project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.
