Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the overall architectural vision and strategy for the company's telecommunications network.
- Evaluate and select new technologies, platforms, and solutions to enhance network capabilities and service offerings.
- Create detailed architectural designs, blueprints, and documentation for complex network systems.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and business units to ensure architectural alignment with strategic goals.
- Provide expert technical guidance on network design, scalability, and performance optimisation.
- Oversee the implementation of architectural changes and ensure adherence to design standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience (8+ years) in telecommunications network architecture and design.
- Deep understanding of 5G, LTE, IP networking, cloud-native architectures, and SDN/NFV.
- Proven ability to design and implement large-scale, high-availability network solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
